DEMO 1


Before and after biological process speed-up

The covered windrow plant capacity is to process 3000 tonnes per month which consists 2 bays where each bay caters for 1500 tonnes.


BAY 1

Fibre kept for 2 weeks

Baseline scenario (Before): Low biological activity, slow composting, low vaporisation

 

BAY 2

Segregated into 2 parts and new fibre filled up and BEE’s composting methodology was deployed

 

RESULT:

1. High biological activity, speedy composting, high vaporization within the 5th day in the new fibre where BEE's composting methodology was deployed.

 

2. Temperature reached 80.1 ˚C
